I can honestly say that my experience with Underwater Adventure has been one of the most rewarding and fulfilling of my life. I began my swim adventure as a 34 year old- I had never learned to swim as a child, and as a consequence, not only wanted to be fit, but needed to conquer a fear. The lessons I received quickly became so much more! Soon everyone, from my wonderful instructor, Jenica Alvarez, to all of the supportive staff, led me into what became an unexpected delight- I was swimming!

My lessons began in April; 30 minute sessions where I learned to simply get into the water, and have now progressed into one hour sessions that include the backstroke, breast stroke, freestyle, and underwater swimming! Through the dedication and selflessness of the wonderful staff, I’ve not only conquered a fear in my life, but have discovered great joy. (As an added bonus, I’ve lost 10 pounds and have become more toned than I would have believed! It only gets better!)

I cannot say enough in praise of Underwater Adventure. I can only hope that my experience would lead someone into starting their adventure early, and enjoying the same wonderful benefits I’ve known.
